Our client has launched a web-based educational programme with the potential to reach a global audience, and they now would like to find a freelance online marketer to develop an online marketing campaign, to raise awareness of the programme and ultimately generate enrolments in the online courses.
The client, a successful classroom educator in health-related topics, is now introducing web-based courses, using a combination of webinars and pre-recorded video modules. Prospective online customers will initially be invited to participate in a free webinar during which they will learn more about the courses and how they might benefit from enrolling in and completing the courses. The health issues addressed in these courses are widespread in the community, and those who are genuinely seeking advice and assistance are usually keen to enrol, and our client typically has a minimum of 1 in 3 conversion rate. The courses will have, initially, two programme streams:
1. Snoring and sleep apnoea
2. Anxiety and stress management
The expectation is that your marketing activities will generate large numbers of prospects in the introductory webinars, with the aim to secure a target of 5000 paid enrolments over a six month period.
Your online marketing campaign should include a breakdown of the different avenues for promotion, such as, social media, referrals and high profile recommendations.
Please prepare a short proposal, including a broad summary of your campaign plan and methodology to raise the client’s global online presence, and outlining your knowledge and experience in the online marketing field. Your proposal should include a minimum of three examples of online marketing projects you have undertaken which demonstrate your capability and success in this field.
Your response should address the following key criteria:
1. Your credentials
2. Examples / Case studies of your work
3. General concept plan
The client would consider a good outcome to be 3000 web seminar attendees, resulting in 1000 course enrolments (500 per course).
Depending upon the value presented in your proposal, we will consider a range of alternative contractual arrangements and remuneration options. Our preference is a results-based agreement, whereby remuneration will be based upon enrolment outcomes.
We will, however, consider other proposals and models, depending upon your experience and qualifications.
For example, we may outsource the entire programme (both the marketing planning and execution) to the successful applicant, or contract the successful applicant to design an online marketing campaign only, which we will undertake in-house.
Payment terms will be negotiated as part of the final contract negotiations.
Please prepare your proposal, including at least three examples of your previous work, and your proposed contractual arrangements, by close of business (Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time +[url removed, login to view]) on Wednesday 17 December 2014.
