We are leaders in supplying Guest Entertainment Solutions, deployed over IP networks. Our system delivers Television, Video on Demand, Digital Signage, Compendium (Guest Information Screens) and other services direct to TV's within Hotels, Clubs, Commercial, Aged Care facilities.
We require a talented and gifted developer to work with us to create a food ordering module. It is not complicated but you need to understand how to work within our software structure which can limit your creativity somewhat, but I am looking for that GEM that will find your way through and come to a successful project completion.
This food ordering module is basically a mini site which will need to be hosted on our server, and will only be available to devices located on the internal network.
The interface a customer will use to access the site will be a Philips Smart TV. At present the TV has middleware installed on it to access our TV Entertainment System. There is no set top box involved. When the guest access the food ordering module they will be leaving our middleware via a link which will then jump the TV using the inbuilt Opera Browser to the mini site you will be creating.
When the guest has finished ordering the food the ‘Completed’ button will then re-direct them back to our Guest Entertainment System.
The site will be hosted on a CentOS release 5.9 (Final) though this will be upgraded to Centos 6.3 in the near future. The server is a LAMP server already running mySql.
Looking for a fast completion and a developer/group which can work well with our team. Past completion of similar mini sites will be viewed favourably. Anyone located in Sydney/Australia is preferred.
