Graphic Design and Prepress for Margarita Book

This is a small to medium project. We can best consider bids in the range of $200 to $500. Please read carefully You will also receive a credit in the book! Freelance Job Description Opportunity to be lead graphic designer and get a named credit in the book entitled “100 Margaritas!”. This is a book that will be given away FREE with the purchase of tequila products in liquor stores around the world and downloadable online. “100 Margaritas!” is book which features classic favorite and unique new margarita recipes. Some of the more interesting drinks include a Gummi Bear Margarita, Gumball Margarita and even a Chocolate Margarita . . .of course many “House Favorite” classic recipes such as frozen, margarita punches and traditional recipes are present as well. PAY and CREDIT IN THE BOOK Pay is up to $5 per recipe design - that's up to $10 per page for each completed delivered page - total pay is $500 total. PHOTOS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AND ARE INCLUDED!! NOTE: You do not have to design a “Theme” for every page – simply a “Theme” for each section (5 sections) and then utilize that layout and theme for the entire section. Great opportunity to get published and show off your stuff while earning a few extra bucks. Your name will appear in the credits in the book as the Graphic Designer. The Things You Will Get to Work Your Pages Photos of every completed drink – These are great action shots taken by a pro photographer with splashing and pouring throughout. They are very action oriented and kenetic! The design work must be as energetic as the photos! The Recipe for each drink The mixing instructions. The Garnish instructions. Up to two (2) short commentaries on the cocktail in question from a “Joe Camel” type of Tequila based character named Johnny Tiki, Tik-Daddy or Lola Tiki. - - - Please note you will have to design these Tikis. Credits at [login to view URL] should you need / require any background or other additional photos or artwork. Overall Concept A fun, hip, cool party oriented recipe guide. You must be able to design fun and party in your pages! The photos are kinetic, so keep the energy flowing! The look should be bamboo, tropical and Tiki. How to Get the Job We are accepting bids - -BUT we would especially like to see your take on a sample page. If you could, please design a page using the info provided. Attached you’ll find a drink recipe, commentary by Johhny Tiki and drink Photo! We’ll choose the best and contact you. Size your page to 8” Horizontal to 5” Vertical (so basically the drink recipes will be 2 up on a page. You can opt to resize your image to any design that will fit “Two Up” on a 8x10 page (For example side by side split, or diagonal split – the choice is yours, but for the test we only need to see one recipe – not two. Turn Around Time We will need to receive approximately 10 pages a day. Simple daily approval process. If you wish to go faster that is acceptable. Thirst quenching with the perfect blend of tart and sweet, the Prickly Pear Margarita works equally well with a salted of sugar rimmed glass and served highball or on the rocks. Ingredients: 2 1/2 oz Voodoo Tiki Desert Rose Prickly Pear Infused Tequila 1/2 oz Triple Sec 1/2 oz Orange Juice 2 oz Sour Mix Splash of Grenadine for color Directions: Combine all ingredients and Shake. Serve on the rocks or up. Garnish with sugar coated lime wheel.
