What we need: Develop the art work to be printed in the packs.
Sizes: To begin we will work with two different sizes 109mm x 44mm (1.73"x 4.29") and 77mm x 45 mm (1.77" x 3.03"), attached is going a pic of the papers and a size chart. But keep in mind: the design will be printed in the pack of this papers, I didn’t find exactly the size of this packs so I count on your help
Fonts: To take as a starter you can use as reference this one (it's a good one but we think that our text is a little bit weird in this font, but we want something similar that turns the text in something more readable): [login to view URL]
Our thoughts about the font and how it will be use in the logo text: We want to use the slogan "Here is The Dabz" with a black background (Reference 1) in some kind of shape (Reference 2) that will go in the left side of the pack. To fill up the rest of the space we will use the world "Rollies" (in the same font of the slogan) or with a few little different details. The beginning of the slogan "HERE IS" should be in capital letters with a different font and not surrounded by a box. "The Dabz" should be bigger and surround by a box (reference 1). For the background we are thinking of creating a patterned wallpaper like the reference 4. Our icons are going to be an alien (reference 5), a weed leaf (reference 6), a skateboard (reference 7), a musical note (reference 8) and a tattoo gun (reference 9). This is our version of good times.
What we are thinking about:
Skate as part (we don't want to make our brand about it, but use it as a element to connect our brand to skateboarders ) of the art (reference 3),
Make it transmit a good vibe: Our kind of good vibe is to spend some time with friends smoking j's and listening to good music.
Conclusion: This art will be the first one that our clients will see, so will be the guide for all the other sides of the pack. The total will be 3 arts (front, back and inside), our supplier will provide the printing service so you only need to worry about the art.
