Build an Online Store

Hi, I have had a custom children's clothing website ([login to view URL]) for about 10 years and this past year has been killing me and the people I manufacture for. Our customer service is awesome, our shipping speed cannot be beat, and we can offer the most versatile and complete custom made birthday outfits anywhere and we were doing awesome before this year. The only thing I can think of is all the changes with Google and my site must not be up to date. I really need a different or upto date look, I guess. I keep reading that I need more social media, but I don't even know what that really means. Overall, I run a business so I don't have lots of time for Facebook and blogging. Every second I waste doing that, is time away from designing. However, I know something needs to change. If I change though, I keep saying that I really really want: A little cartoon type girl as an avatar to model the outfits as a customer selects custom options. So they could select a shirt color, sleeve length, and top design and the avatar would show that look. Then they could select the name and age and that would show up on the screen. Then the customer could order that outfit. If that was too complicated, at least, I want the name and age to change the way cafepress is set up. I have tried a few things and I did not like them like shopfly and opencart. I did not like those at all. Opencart is way too complicated. So my overall thought is, a customer comes to my birthday site to buy an outfit, they usually start with the theme, like first birthday or princess, then they look at designs. We have well over a thousand designs posted and half of all orders are usually customized, resulting in us taking a new photo and uploading that variation as a new product. We do mass customized birthday outfits and I want people to see their custom options easily, before they place the order and without me having to send screen shots. We have so many designs that people love to see the options, but they get overwhelmed too. Do you have a way to design a site where customers can see their options, especially a name and age on the screen, right away?
