Java/JSP Hibernate project

We are looking for a Java developer to help extend a Java based web site. The web site is developed with JSP, Struts, Spring, Hibernate. The existing site uses jQuery on client side although the coder is free to use a more modern framework like Vue.js or possibly React.js for these pages. This project will also include setting up of the coding and development environment. The existing project allows users to take a test online. Currently the question points can added to the test as a whole. There are two main parts to this project PART 1) This part of the project will extend the functionality to allow the questions of the test to add points to a specific category. This project consists of 3 new pages. This is mostly simple CRUD processing with some XML processing as one of the fields will be saved in XML format. The 4 new SQL tables will be added. There is are 2 main existing tables related to these new tables. These are the 'assessment' table and the 'question' table. The 3 new pages and 4 tables are as follows: -- Category page - This is user to enter update and delete the categories. table `category` - this holds the category. It has of 4 fields including ID, name description. -- Category score page - this helps allocate score to the category. A multiple choice question can add scores to one or various categories in depending on how it is answered. This is defined in the category score table. table `categoryscore` - one or multiple category scores can be added to a question. The category score has six fields including 'questionid' and 'categoryid' and score. This links a questions to a category and a score. It would be useful to create a page the lists the questions. Next to the questions there will be a button for category scoring. -- Comments page - A comment is displayed depending at the end of the test depending on the categories score. This enables user to add various score range filters. These can be chained together and each chain has a comment that should be displayed. if a chain is processed an no comment is displayed the next chain is processed ans so on. table `categoryrangefilter` - this consists of 5 fields including a category ID and 'to' and 'from' score filter field. table `categorycomment` - this consists of 5 fields this has a filter chain field. The category range filters are chained together in a filter chain. The category filter chain is stored in XML format. This chain is stored in the 'categoryfilterchain' field of the 'categorycomment' table. When the field are chained together a comment is added. This has a comment field to add a comment to the filter chain. -- PART 2) Create a service the takes the respondent answers and gives the comment depending on the answers given. The main existing table related to this is the 'respondentanswer' table. We already have code to read the answers from this table. Therefore the service will use the 'respondentanswer' data and read the category score, the category score information, the filter chain, range comments etc to give the final comment. -- The coding conventions that the coder should follow will be provided along with some example code. The code should be clean an well commented. The coder should have good communication skills and be able to communicate the project details via Skype.
