This project is to migrate data from an existing site with multiple data types into a new WordPress install. I've already set up everything on the receiving WordPress side and exported the existing data tables to CSV files. (Unfortunately the dated Microsoft server does not have a working MySQL export function) Exported data tables in CSV format (11 files): [login to view URL] Data will need to be imported into new custom post types in WordPress: - Attorneys (90) - Events (94) - Alerts / Articles (472) (Split into two CPT from one) - Cooper News / Legal News (154) (Split into two CPT from one) Practices are set up as a custom taxonomy. All necessary post meta fields are in place. Please note that some merging of tables will be necessary. For example: - Articles have associated Attorneys with value keys in a separate CSV file (AttorneyArticleIndex-Table [login to view URL]) - Articles have associated Practices with value keys in a separate CSV file (ArticlePracticeIndex-Table [login to view URL]) - Events have associated Attorneys with value keys in a separate CSV file (AttorneyEventIndex-Table [login to view URL]) - News have associated Attorneys with value keys in a separate CSV file (AttorneyNewsIndex-Table [login to view URL]) - Attorneys have associated Practices with value keys in a separate CSV file (AttorneyPracticeIndex-Table [login to view URL]) - News have associated Practices with value keys in a separate CSV file (NewsPracticeIndex-Table [login to view URL]) Post relationships have been set up in WordPress using MB Relationships: [login to view URL] You will be given to a staging WordPress site for content entry. Please specify if you will be automating data entry or manually migrating the content by hand.

Hi! I always opt for an automated solution, though not using some general tool, but something I would be writing for the specific job at hand, rather than going through all by hand. That accounts for the two day estimation time - first day to do all the necessary prep work and tie all related data together to facilitate the actual import phase and the necessary integrity checks afterwards. Kind Regards, Dobri PS: Just to let you know that I am not bidding low only in an attempt to get the job granted to myself, but I already looked into the data from that dropbox and there is really this much work in this, included the import tool writing. Some criteria and data relationships would need to be precised, but all this could be handled in the prep phase.

I would automate this, first on a site copy of your WordPress environment, and then later on production. I would use a plugin where I would put the data files into the plugin folder, and then just have a button that fires off the import into the database. Afterwards, the plugin would be deleted. This would get the data onto your system, but it wouldn't involve designing the front end of your site.
