I have novel to be published and I need an artist to draw applicable cover artwork.
Please see attached sketch for a general overview. Here the details:
The kids are entering a canyon in the Colorado Plateau from a side slot canyon. The canyon they are in is dark while the canyon they are entering is lite up by spot lights pointing towards an unseen canyon wall face to their left in the main canyon. The slot canyon walls to their left, in shadow, is filled with fossils including T-rex skull at the bottom and a human skull at the top with other dinosaur bones in strata. 300 feet in front of them, against the far canyon wall, is a science trailer with an antenna. 100 feet above the trailer in the canyon wall is a Native American ruin. To the trailer's left is the bank of spot lights. On top of the far canyon wall are 2 AH64E helicopters in temporary hangers and a crane. The night sky above is filled with stars and an aurora borealis. The kids are seen from the back just before they enter the canyon.
- The boy is a 14-year-old Caucasian, tall, skinny with blond hair. He is wearing a light long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a Detroit Tiger's baseball hat, cargo short and hiking boots. He has a canteen on his left side hanging from his belt initialed G.P.N.E. and a rock hammer. He is wearing on old pack with "Fossils" sewn in above the top pocket. The boy has his hand on thee dark canyon wall to his left.
- The girl is a 13-year-old Creole, tall, skinny with darker skin and long bushy dark hair. She is dressed in a pink short-sleeve shirt, cargo shorts and hiking boots. Her pack is colorful. She is pointing toward the science trailer.
