Marketing and Proposal Specialist in Alexandria-Virginia GDIC, LLC is currently seeking a full time Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Writer to support corporate public safety communications and information technology initiatives and proposal development services. It requires daily presence in our office headquarters. Primary Responsibilities • Coordinate and respond to customer Request for Proposals (RFPs) • Drive the RFP process to ensure content is accurate and deadlines are met • Research industry RFPs to reach new markets and expand customer base • Create and manage content library for corporate contacts and RFP responses • Develop and maintain product sales sheets and brochures, ensuring current & accurate content • Help produce and distribute corporate announcements, user advisories, and press releases • Assist with updates to company website: copy, announcements, blog and software version updates • Design and manage the corporate marketing strategy including industry convention management • Help create and update technical content and documentation • Creative marketing and technical writing, including white papers, sales sheets, brochures and corporate resumes • Provide research and reports based on information collected such as trends, competition, new products, and pricing • Conduct competitor research and analysis • Support corporate sales business development initiatives Qualifications • Strong verbal and written skills • Proficient at creating presentations with PowerPoint with an eye for professional, aesthetically pleasing, and polished production • Advanced proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office • Experience with Visio, Adobe, Paint Shop and/or other graphic development applications • Knowledge of GoToMeeting/Webinar or similar webinar platform Required education: • Bachelor's - Our proposal writer department considers 3% of any contracts made. The meetings will take place in Virginia and if it is out of your residing location, we will pay for the expenses.
