IOS sample APP to handle operation that takes long time

we are looking for someone to create a small sample app for the following e 2 tasks. the selected candicate must do the project in Xcode and I need to see the working source code before i releace the payment. 100 % payment will be given on project completion and source code submittion. we have a DB operation (mysql lite) which takesa long time and we want a way to handle this.

1.) run a loading SVG image while the db operation is rinning and once completed load the main screen, this has to work with rest web servces too if the web service takes a long time to load, it must show the SVG untill the webserice return a jason output. sample SVG image can be provided or u can use any on the internet.

2.) let the DB operation or the rest service run in the background and the app must not get stuck while this operation is running, app must load data in to the mysql lite db and it must operate smooly while this is running. db operation must complete on its own in the background mode. same with the webserivce. it must run in background and complete.

this coding must be done in objective c
