Essentially I'd like to create a "wall for the world" hence the name of the website "world wall" from now on called "the site". In theory this would be a place where everyone would be able to express their thoughts and feelings so everyone can see. An example of this,in the real world, would be a phisical wall where someone like an artist goes up and draws a graffitti or writes something he feels is important. So I'd like this website to be a wall full of drawings and writings. In practise this will be some combination of google maps and a function of microsoft paint. It is hard to explain with words and "a picture can often mean a thousand words" so I will provide you a picture that illustrate what users will be able to do : (PICTURE 1) And after a bit of drawing and stuff the map from above would look something like this: (PICTURE 2) And after a lot of hard work and burning a shitload amount of money I want the page to look a little bit something like this: (PICTURE 3) From the USERS' point of view. 01. This would be done as a website. 02. The USER upon visiting the site will be able to view the "worldwall"(google maps + the drawings). 03. The USER will have some available colours to draw: namely the colours of the rainbow. 04. USER will be able to draw only at exactly 100meters above the ground (as seen on google maps) (PICTURE 4) 05. USERS will be also able to upload small picture ads 400x400 but they will have to pay for those one euro per picture. 06. After two days all drawings will be deleted to make space on the server. From the DEVELOPER'S point of view 01. Use google API or anything that has very good detailed maps that may be cheaper. 02. Upon signing up allow the USERS the PAINTING TOOLS (the colours of the rainbow) 03. Let users draw and save data on the SERVER (I like calligraphy brush 1 from microsoft paint) 04. Also let users drawings to cover other user's drawings. 05. Allow USERS to draw only within the 100 meters specification. 06. Allow USERS to upload 400x400 ads costing them 1 pound each. 07. Allow USERS to make payments using a trusted and cheap for us way of payment. 08. Automatically delete everything but the pictures when the server is full. If you want to win the bid.
