Hello, let me start by answering your questions: 1. I have experience in a number of programming languages, primarily C# (which is largely based on C). I did a course in C when I was at university. I've just completed a freelance project implementing a web server in C, which should be on my profile. I also work with a fellow graduate who regularly uses C/C++ at his day job. 2. I haven't done a C tutorial before, but I have helped out several of my coursemates with programming when I was at university. I believe I can condense the material to an easy-to-comprehend level for beginners. I also plan to reference (not copy) a C programming book that I have. 3. I have had a look at the course outline. I would suggest a few rearrangements; for example, section 6 on Libraries should probably come much later in the syllabus because it is an advanced topic - perhaps before section 15 on File IO. I'm happy to discuss this further with you. 4. The first practical will be section 3, which I suggest will be a basic "Hello World" program. Beyond that, I would suggest having a practical unit at the end of each section. It would also help learners if the practicals build on each other; for example we start with the Hello World program in section 3 and later extend that to read the "Hello World" string from a file in section 15. My only question is whether the tutorial must be written for Windows or Linux users, or both. If you want to clarify anything please feel free to contact me.
