We've two physical servers, on each one of them we created one single VM (ubuntu 18.04).
The VM is running a database server and some other services (tomcat, etc), users connect to it via web browser (web application).
We'd like to:
1. have one VM active to which users connect.
2. In case of active VM is down (network problem, or physical problem),
the standby VM starts serving same everything (data, etc) to users, and the users should connect to the same IP address/hostname of the active VM, so everything is transparent for users apart the downtime of some minutes.
Freelancer will have access via a public IP on high speed link to the two servers (PROXMOX web ui), he'll have also direct ssh access to both VM.
Freelancer should provide a short memorendum (list of commands used during setup, screenshots) and should backup the PROXMOX configuration and show how to restore it because it will be used to deploy multiple sites.
Freelancer may recommand other open source/free solutions to achieve those goals.
Questions and proposals are welcome.
