Hi I have 13 year solid CTI and Web development experience, I have analyzed your requirements and diagram. and I think following points can be improved in your plan. * SSD drive should be used with database server * Unless you have a future plan for horizontal scaling, I don't see there will be any benefit for reverse proxy, as nginx unnecessarily has to deal / route with different services / port * Why KVM ? you can manage disk easily by using LVM ( logical volume management GUI ) * If you need KVM to put each service in different VM then I think it will be overkill, and instead docker can do it, in much efficient way. Further you have mentioned PHP, LibreOffice and template keywords, May be you want to an interface / application for document server, If that is the case then please provide more details about required application. I have hands-on experience in required technologies. However, would like some clarity on the implementation plan. Is it one server with 4 disks attached to it and managed using LVM or Is it 3 servers hosted over KVM? Both cases are doable and I would love to get the opportunity to complete this deployment.

hi again, I understand that you need to deploy a virtualized environment using as base operating system Ubuntu 18.04+ KVM. In the base system (sda Disk 1) you will need to install Nginx, Apache2 and an SMTP server. Then you need to create two virtual machines, one of then with ubuntu 18.04+MySQL(Disk 2) and the other VM ubuntu 18.04+Libreoffice (Disk3). Do You need the Disk 4 as Spare for the base system? It can be achieved in the installation time of the base system, so we can set up a RAID 1 scenario. If disk 1 fails, the disk 4 take the control. For Internal network communication, we can use the linux's bridge feature, in that way we can insolate the Database's and template maker's network. I don't understand what about Template maker, can you provide more details, please. You can ask without commitment! Regards!
