install BLOG on my Mgento site

Hi, i need to install BLOG on my website, details are:
My Website is based on Magento Version 1.7.0.2 , it has theme (ULTIMO) from themeforest installed on it.
BLOG needs to be from Aheadworks - the free version.
I have tried installing it both through Connect manager as well as FTP - does not show up in front end (even had set the path correct to My Theme)
