We require a professional developer to create an App (Android/Apple compatible) as an initial test for us. We are a marketing company, and would be looking to award 3-5 App development jobs (via freelancer.com) to the winning developer who can prove how well they can complete this initial project.... Create an App for a restaurant/takeaway. The App must: :: allow people to reserve a table :: have a full categorised menu (from existing online site) :: have prices :: allow people to order their food options via the App :: make payments by 1) paypal 2) 'cash on delivery' 3) credit card over the phone :: have a back-end admin section allowing client to change menu/prices when required :: allow users to create an account via the App, for easy login in future :: restrict users to enter only certain towns which the restaurant will deliver to :: send an immediate email to the restaurant giving them the full order details :: be compatible on ALL devices :: be completed by 10th July 2012 :: come under our budget of $250 for this trial project We will provide you with the Restaurant menu, and you will need to enter all original data into the App. We have 4 other projects which already have briefs written for them, as soon as this has been completed, we will upload the 4 projects to freelancer.com allowing only private bids from original freelancer who has undertaken this project. If you complete this fully on time and under budget, we will be able to keep you very busy with new projects in future (all projects will be awarded via Freelancer.com). Previous experience is vital, please show us what Apps you have created before or how you will handle this project; also let us know the time-frame for completion. Many thanks.

Hello, We're interested in bidding this project and could develop the app under cost depending on what type of relationship we can hope to gain and how many apps we could potentially be developing. A few questions about your app: 1) Do you have graphic design already done? Mockups? Storyboard? If not, then it will be hard for us to stay under the estimate. 2) reserve a table - are you planning on using some sort of third party API (ie, Open Table) or have you developed your own API via your web backend. 3) full categorized menu and prices will be managed through a web back end...do you have anything in place already? 4) allow people to order their food...again, do you have a web server API already created or is this something we'd have to create? 5) Do you need a web front end as well?6) do you want people to log in via fb or create an account completely? 7) send an immediate email to the restaurant giving them the full order details - why not skip the email and just send a notice to the restaurant so that they can view the order? 8) For this price, we would only be doing Android. It would be cheaper to build the Android. 9) be completed by 10th July 2012 - depending on the graphics (status) , API status, and application requirements and work done to date (ie mockups, front end, back end)...we can try to turn it around in 4-5 weeks. It seems that if you need the back end, front end, app, and graphics, it'll be more expensive than $250. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments and if you're willing to reconsider your budget too $750 for the app only, we're happy to bid on this project.
