Hi, I have a project that iv been designing in raspberry pi and wheezy. I have a raspberry pi with wheezy installed, a USB internet stick ZTE mf180 and a camera connected What I need is that the usb stick will connect to the internet and transmit the video strim to a specific IP that i can chose. The work should be easy since half of it is already done and I the only thing not working is the 3G USB stick.

Hi, I have used raspi extensively for my projects. But so far used only wifi and ethernet for internet connection. I hope I can try this and solve it. The 3G dongle works differently and uses AT hayes commands for communications. Also there are vendor specific (3G service provider) settings like access points, telephone number to dial and username/password etc. We can use modules to simplify this. As I mentioned I have read about this but didn't try this before. If this project is awarded, I will buy a USB 3G stick and make it work. I am confident that I can make it work. I can logon to your machine to configure your device as well. Thanks!
