I am making a home automation system to control light switches and intensity as well as fan switching and speed control . All this needs to be controlled by voice commands given to android app which would convert the voice to text and then according to the keywords present in the transcript send certain ascii values over bluetooth to the raspberry pi which would further process the command to perform required action . I don't need any fancy api, just a blank screen would work as well . The application however should be satiable .

You will have to share with us all the possible requests to be sent via Bluetooth as we will tune the speech recognition to match them. I.e if a user utters "pot on the lights" our algorithm will try to match it with the correct outcome. i.e to turn on the lights. This will be done via Natural Language Processing. You can also fine tune your confidence threshold for accepting a correct match to ensure that all requests are complete and no accidental requests are triggered by aggressive NLP.
