I would like to have an app built that would enable business travellers in a strange city to find somewhere close by where they could work in peace and comfort, being able to specify required facilities such as wifi, parking coffee etc.
The app would allow owners of venues (pubs, restaurants, offices etc) to publish their venue on the app, specifying whether the venue has a number of facilities, such as car parking, free wifi, coffee etc, as well as any charge they might make for usage (eg a pub may specify a £10 minimum spend, an office might specify a fee of £15 per day), the app would not be involved in the collection of any fees.
The traveller would then be able to search by distance and by the facilities specified above. For example, he/she might look for a place within 2 miles with car parking, free wifi and a quiet room. Any venues that meet these criteria would be returned.
To weed out time wasters I will only progress with applicants who have actually read my posting, and who quote the word "Zebra" in their response.
I see the app as having seven screens, as detailed in the attached file. The functionality required is as follows :
• Venues register with username, password, email and address (address should be confirmed with geolocation), and whether they have specific facilities and their opening times
• Users search for venues within a defined proximity and with specified facilities
• Those venues meeting the criteria are returned in a table.
• Clicking one of the rows will return the detail page for that venue
I would like the app developed in PhoneGap with an AWS backend, and using the mobile hub where possible. The back end database should be MySQL. There should be an Admob advertising banner at the bottom of each page.
I want the app published on the apple and android app stores.
Please reply with your price, the time it will take and high-level milestones.
