Decrease the minSdkVersion from 21 to 16 in Android app

I have a simple project (no server connection, everything is local) where set minSdkVersion 21 and I want to decrese it to 16.
Maybe I will loose some cool features because of it but I want to replace them to simple analogical effects.
There Implemented the library "IRBottomNavigationLib" , I think higher version requeres this library but I am not sure.
So, task is to make this project workable in androids from 16 version.
