I have a Xamarin Forms solution in Visual Studio 2017. The solution contains three projects: .NET Standard 2.0 Class Library, and the iOS and Android projects. The iOS builds fine and I am able to share the prototype application with internal testers via TestFlight. The Android application compiles under 8.1 Oreo (with min Android version 4.0.3 - Ice Cream Sandwich). The problem with the Android application is that the UI does not look the same as the iOS version - there are fairly minor differences like text color and alignment in places, and the tabbed menu has an issue (in iOS the 5th tab is 'More' - this does not appear in the Android version and if you select one of the tabs to the right hand side, an error is thrown and the app crashes - I believe this has something to do with the fact that the 'More' tab is not being generated). Push notifications also need to be added to the Android version (works fine in the iOS version). If I provide the Visual Studio 2017 (version 15.6.4) project, I need someone to tweak the Android UI to be as close to the iOS version as possible, fix the tabbed menu problem, and add the events so the push notifications can be enabled and the device id registered.
