Using Xamarin the I can write native Android and iOS apps with the same feel and look a native app offers with the same user-interface and multiple platform shared codes. Recently I build a Xamarin Android App from scratch. By using Xamarin I found benefits that it reduces the time and cost of mobile app development. Xamarin provides a massive collection of class libraries. Xamarin helps to build the same APIs and UI controls which needs to build iOS and Android apps with the exact feel and look of the native apps. Xamarin component has so many UI controls, cross-platform libraries, and third-party web services. To build Xamarin app 1st need to build the UI separately for different platforms and then bind the UI with the common codebase. There are actually two different ways to build the UI. You can use the original native methods to build the UI or you can use Xamarin.Forms. After doing the UI comes the most difficult part in which you need to connect the UI to the codebase. And that again can be done by two different code sharing strategies called ‘Shared Project’ or ‘Portable Class Libraries’. For iOS development with Visual Studio on Windows, you also need to set up a Mac with the Xamarin tools. One of my recent Apps built using Xamarin have access to the full spectrum of functionality exposed by the underlying platform and device, including platform-specific capabilities like Android Multi-Window mode.
