What we would like is a mobile app that can streamline the workflow of our clients. We have been using device magic, and their forms to complete forms and import data into our server for MS SQL to process and send out reports. We want to remove device magic from our workflow and have an app that will allow us to use our own forms and data sent to a Mysql server for massaging and manipulation with the ability to return the data to the devices. The app will need to be able to search and return results from the mysql data, as well as push notifications, vcard transfer both directions, as well as a secure login that scales the apps features per user level. The app will need to have access to the devices contacts, calendar, and integration with their email. (voice to text is also critical)
We have an in how MS SQL programmer and a basic graphic designer but no front end developers, or MySQL experts.
Lots of features I know but we want this to be a one stop shop for sales, safety, data, and dispatching.
Attached is some very basic mockups of the first tier of functionality we would be looking at.
List of criteria we have compiled thus far:
Create local database for drop downs and be able to update selections based on other entries or data from mysql.
Ability to work offline, and send out stored entries when online again.
Accessibility to phone features such as contacts and calendar.
Have a central control panel for administration such as access/user rights.
