Apache Solr configuration help - open to bidding

Need apache Solr config help... new install, seems can connect but Xpath Error on addDocument via my PHP code I get past here using standard access options: $options = array ( 'hostname' => "[login to view URL]", 'login' => "11111", 'password' => "11111", 'port' => "8983", 'path' => 'solr/programsInstance' ); $client = new SolrClient($options); Then I query a database and attempt to add records to Solr. Problem happens on the last line here: $doc = new SolrInputDocument(); $doc->addField('fieldone', $row['fieldone']); $updateResponse = $client->addDocument($doc); Warning: SolrClient::addDocument(): Xpath Error: no elements found Then Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'SolrClientException' with message 'Unsuccessful update request : Response Code 404. ============= I feel like I'm close and it's just some configuration settings that need to be ironed out... but beyond me now. Do you have experience installing Solr and think you can help?
