Automated Website File Sync -- 2

I need a small program that quietly runs on our server and keeps the freight information on our public site completely in-sync with a local source folder. Every ten minutes it should: • scan the designated directory, • upload any new or changed text files, • remove any text files that were deleted from the directory, so the web content always mirrors what we have internally. The directory path will be configurable; everything in that folder is considered authoritative. Reliability and low overhead are far more important than fancy visuals, so feel free to use a lightweight approach—Python with watchdog and an FTP/SFTP library, a PHP cron job, a Node script, or another solution you prefer—as long as it can run unattended on a typical Linux hosting environment and log its actions for basic auditing. Deliverables • Fully-tested script or service ready to deploy • Simple setup guide (install steps, required packages, and how to edit schedule or path) • Brief usage notes on how to start/stop the service and read the logs I’m happy to answer any case questions up front so the first version you send over can be tested on live production.
