Website PHP, MySQL and AJAX

Do PHP, MySQL and AJAX coding for a new website - product catalogue with around 5,000 products. All HTML and CSS has been done. If any extra CSS is needed, we'll take care of it. Design is an update of an old website, which is live and was written in regular PHP. For the new website, I'd like object-based PHP to be used, however you might be able to use some of the coding from old website (e.g. scripts to calculate prices). Special new features: - intelligent search: as you type in the search box, options will appear from 2 fields in the database (like in google) - product filtering: where user can select a few criteria like product colour, brand and category - all these listed in a column - improved pagination, with option to view all products The database is designed, with one field that might have to be split into a few, to ease the filtering mentioned above. The website uses a PHP application that allows us to upload products in bulk from a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is a single sheet but uploads data to different tables of the database, using # as separators. This application will need to be amended to match the proposed changes in the database.
