I need a CMS to run a video website (for adult purpose). This is a quick draft of most important features. More will come, specially for seo purpose. Important are the scraping gallery part, i would like this feature to be fast and no resource wasting. Main page: We have to show: Content by thumbs (Videos, Galleries) with ability to rate them (+ or - rating system made in ajax), clicks/view amount, tags Friends List Top Viewed Media Top Rated Media Tag Cloud (most searched terms) Banners Search engine for content External content list (open in a frame with top and foot where we'll have banners or something else) Featured links (they are listed as titles and they will be taken from RSS or so... they will open in a new window because they are sponsored galleries) show x amount of entries per page, and allow archiving show add bookmark show rss feed Media page: play Video or show gallery Thumbs, with title and description relevant banners and links Similar (by tags) random content shown by thumbs (x number of thumbs) Top Viewed Media Top Rated Media Search engine for content overview: - uses php and mysql - uses dynamic or static content - uses images, movies, flash, and text for embedded content - uses few queries as possible (for high traffic usage) - uses a submit system for user submitted content - uses an ad system for ad spots - uses rss feeds from other sites as submitted content Admin Section: Links: - Categories - subcategory - Post a gallery - Post a video - Post featured links - Post external links (this will be like createing a normal hosted link but we have external URL instead of hosted file) Seo feature: Each category must have its own related text. I mean, i need to create variety in pages, because of google. So creating category i need to associate different content, text, meta tags, page title. Text will be displayed somehwere in the page, maybe at the top. Just have a TAG to call it in template. i will explain why... it's important for the search engines to see different pages and listings pages are very very similar when you make them with a CMS. so it's important to personalize the page. If we are listing asian pictures, it's nice to include somewhere some text explaining what we have on the page. Gallery Creation ---------------- Adding a gallery we need to include: Category, Subcategory (if any), Sponsor, link name, Description, Tags, Screenshot (the one to be shown in home page). 3 way gallery creation - uploading all pictures - uploading a zip - scraping from URL. here we can insert an url or use ones from RSS or from sponsor galleries. Uploading zip or scraping from url procedures must show pictures to let me decide which to include. One of the picture will be the main thumbnail too, so we need to select it. Thumbnails have to be created at high quality, with the ability to crop them right. They have a nice way to create gallery, crop images and so. Video ----- - Embedded video (add code to show content from site like youtube) - Hosted video Adding a video we need to include: Category, Subcategory (if any), Sponsor, link name, Description, Tags, Screenshot (the one to be shown in home page). If hosted video file must autosize or give ability to be resized and shown with right width and height Featured links -------------- i want to add featured links (sponsored galleries, FHG, call what you want. They are ready made gave out by sponsors) from a list of urls. Sponsors: I would like to have all media featured by sponsors. Each gallery or video can be linked to a sponsor.
