ASP Classic or dot net Image Gallery

Is there any more functionality you suggest I implement? Is my thinking practical? Please give me your feedback. Thanks for considering... Here it goes: I have all the code to create, edit galleries. I also have some uploading code (ASP Upload component). I need a function that will resize images for me (gif,jpg,png) This code must be pure asp - I cannot use a component to do this. It could be .net if you can help me integrate it with current app. But it must run on my current Host: [[login to view URL]][1] I am storing some required information in a cookie. I am not trying to tell you how to structure this, but I have some pseudo-code I put together to help me gather my thoughts. Feel free to structure it differently Details 1. Pass a file name and have the function resize the file. pseudo code: function resizeImage(sFullPathAndFileName, iMaxWidth iMaxHeight) ' first resize the originally file if the photo is a potrait (the width is smaller than the height of the image) then proportinally reduce the size to a configurable width or height. If I configure a maxWidth of 100, then the height will be reduced proportionally in size. Vice versa if I set maxWidth. if the photo is a landscape (the width is larger than the height of the image) then proportinally reduce the size to a configurable width or [login to view URL] I configure a maxWidth of 100, then the height will be reduced proportionally in size. Vice versa if I set maxWidth. end function I should be able to call this function 2x on the same serverside execution: first time to reduce the original then a second time to create a thumbnail I also need a second function to overlay a copyright on either the bottom right or another corner of the photo. The overlay should be text or an image that exists on my webserver.
