P2P distributed file sharing

I am looking for a distributed (no central server) P2P application. I already have VB code that will allow for file sharing and instant messaging. This code needs to be twitched around to make it work as I want. Here is the scenario that I need: 1. Application installation. User enters areas of expertise (marketing, sales, etc) which remains stored in the application. User might be able to modify this expertise over the time. 2. User might be able to enter e-mails of "buddies" (people he want to invite to download the application). The system then send an e-mail to these people inviting them to download the application. 3. User then adds documents to its shared folder. The shared folder will be fixed = the user might not change it. 4. Application displays a list of keywords that summarize each document. Users can add/delete keywords. Setup finishes here. Here's the usage scenario: 5. User makes query using natural language (ie. what is the name of this project?) 6. The application searches on the P2P network for any document that might answer his question and displays results by relevance. Documents should be at least: word, excel, powerpoint, html, pdf. 7. User is able to access the desired documents on his computer. 8. The application will ask him to rank the used documents. The system will use this ranking (1 to 5) for further queries. 10. The natural language query is stored in a knowledge database together with the selected documents. 11. If there is no match for the query or no right answer the system escalates to an Instant Messaging level. 12. User selects from a list of experts (defined during the installation of each client), post the same query and define a delay for the answer to arrive. 13. If there is no answer during the delay or the user is not satisfied with the answer then the system escalates to the Web (Google) 14. At each level, the system will ask the user if: the user is satisfied with the answer and to rate the answer As I said, I already have a distributed P2P file sharing and Instant Messaging application in Visual Basic that needs to be twitched around. Nevertheless, the natural language search and knowledge base part will need to be created. I also have a java servlet that will allow to view the same document across the network (shared browsing). So this project will consist of putting all this pieces together. ## Deliverables Complete source code of all programming work done as well as executables.
