Inverse multiplexing/Network striping project for TCP/IP expert and C++/python maestro

Inverse multiplexing, or network striping, allows the construction of a high-bandwidth virtual channel from a collection of multiple low-bandwidth network channels. We require a team or an individual that can implement this technique. Our testing content that we will be transporting over this striped link will be audio and video which is a demanding data stream due to its low latency and high QoS requirements.

If you are a TCP/IP guru, were born coding c++ and python, love creating new technologies and are willing to dedicate significant energy to implementing a best of breed network striping solution for us, then bid on this request. While Linux is our initial development platform, extra value is associated with being able to produce a Win32 version of the client in addition to the Linux version.

Analyzing the horde source code and functionality and discussing its strengths and weaknesses with us ( we have significant experience using horde). Proposing techniques and methodologies to improve on the functionality already existing in horde, essentially, taking network striping to the next level. Implementing said techniques and proving in real world scenarios that they improve on the existing horde capabilities. Providing an end to end, production tested network striping solution. Providing ongoing support (potentially for additional fees) of the product for a period of time until my team can fully support the product. You will be communicating with us via phone, video and audio conference daily (skype or yahoo or AOL). During testing phases this contact will be almost constant and will also be via phone. For real world testing scenarios we will be providing you with: Root logins to a Linux server Root access to a laptop running Linux that has at least two and up to five EVDO modems attached, not all of these modems will necessarily have the same performance characteristics. While Linux is our initial development platform, extra value is associated with being able to produce a Win32 version of the client in addition to the Linux version. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
