About the job We’re a newly constructed website and are looking for an e-commerce web designer who can help us refresh our existing website. Ideally, the designer will produce our websites with an emphasis on overall branding, home, category, and landing page refreshes, new microsite templates, news letters, blog and other special projects as needed. Responsibilities The design must be based on and friendly to promoting our existing affiliate products without disrupting our viewers and/or audience. It’s also important to understand the concept of affiliates in order to refresh the website, building a new blog as well as news letters Responsible for projects from concept through implementation – including graphic design, creating prototypes/mock-ups, development, coding, testing, and debugging. Implement the vision of the online experience; including design, informational architecture & brand identity, ensuring consistency across the entire visual presentation. Work collaboratively with eCommerce and Marketing colleagues to capture design requirements and translate them into design solutions that drive business results. This job also requires frequent communicate via Skype, e-mail and phone. It is important to be reliable and responsible, and deliver quality work on schedule. Ability to lead creative projects and bring them from concept to completion. Qualifications Requires a native English speaker Web design experience with demonstrable skills represented by a portfolio of work. Detailed understanding of the Internet as it relates to working with an enterprise level eCommerce website. High level of proficiency with the following programs & languages: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, affiliate, woo commerce, WordPress and mobile site friendly. Firm understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and image optimization techniques Elegant graphic, typography and web design skills with interactive user experience Prior online web design experience. Strong knowledge/background related to web creative and associated concepts. Experience and knowledge of skim link program would be an advantage. **Please submit us your portfolio and resume first.
