Need WordPress Expert to Troubleshoot Install

I am looking for immediate assistance in troubleshooting a WordPress installation, using WP for its content management features, not as a blog. I installed WP and the theme ok, but once I started installing plugins, something got messed up.
I'm getting this error when I try to configure the theme's Widgets:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_sidebars() (previously declared in /home/comped/public_html/wp-includes/[url removed, login to view]) in /home/comped/public_html/wp-content/plugins/[url removed, login to view] on line 22
I need help in troubleshooting the error and making sure everything is working ok with the plugins and the theme. I'd also like the theme's header/colors modified to give it a custom look.
The purpose of this project is to find someone with extensive WordPress experience that I can work with long-term on multiple WordPress sites. Satisfactory completion of this project will immediately lead to more work, so if you don't have time available to do a few projects for me right now, please don't bid.
I'd like to see examples of previous WordPress work, please post URLs to PMB, and feel free to contact me if you have questions. I'll provide the URL of my site in PMB.
