We are in need of a site very similar to slick deals .net.
We will need the work of the below in the frontend, backend, and graphics.
Frontend:
Functionality exactly like Slick Deals with nearly all text and ability to "drop down" like each slick deals listing.
"drop down" provides additional information about the deal.
***FULL Forum has to be implemented with ability for users to comment and 'score' the deal - just as slick deals does.**
IP and Local Area check verification as user enters site to determine what City deals to show them.
Cookie Users and Login/Password with whole set of database designations for all unique users
Search Engine friendly directory structure for the whole site.
Backend:
The backend will scrape information from 5 major websites: Groupon, BuyWithMe, LivingSocial, KGBDeals, and Giltcity. You will need to immediately setup the scraping for these 5 sites.
Scraping will be all of the categories of data that those 5 sites give out.
All categories on the backend database must be thoroughly split out.
Email newsletter management
Email Trackback w/ confirmation code!
Full User Profile database which categorizes all user information.
***Automatic and continuous generation of new static .html pages each day to feed the search engines.
CMS:
Deal Placement
Classification/Categorization of deals
Affiliate Link modification
Page title and meta description modification
Basic User Management (Password, Access, email, etc)
Create Reports of User usage data (ie: how many times they've logged onto the site, etc)
Manual website scraping execution
Graphics
Intermediate level graphics must be designed and implemented for this site based upon the name of the site.
Color coordination as well as brand recognition must be a priority. Icons w/ the site name in various sizes must also be made.
