This project has been created to re-open project ID 1130052295 (Server Administration/ Monitor): 24/7 monitoring and alarm response for one Fedora Core 2 Linux server with Apache web server, MySQL, firewall, DNS, and qmail. Alarms should include any service offline, excessive CPU load, and disk space usage. Log analysis. You will be responsible for maintaining uptime, keeping the server secure, and basic server administration as needed upon request. Month-to-month contract. Service should include: 1. Server software updates 2. Maintain uptime 3. Install monitoring tools 4. Server Maintenance (logs rotate, free hard-disk space) 5. Basic security checking, and security updates and binary package updates, as they are released by the vendor Root access and Plesk 7 provided. Because we are providing root access, we will need your complete address and contact phone number(s). This server has already been configured and hardened. Need weekly or monthly uptime, security, and other server performance reporting.
