An Excel / VBA programmer is required to work within our team developing templates mostly for the use of accountants and bookkeepers, but also ad-hoc tasks as required.
An understanding of financial statements and double entry bookkeeping is required. A grasp of the accountancy principals would also be beneficial.
## Deliverables
The Accountants Circle provides a support service to accountants and bookkeepers, include a variety of Excel Templates and online tools.
We are currently seeking an additional member to the team to work on the Excel Templates we provide (including adding new templates), as well as ad-hoc Excel tasks as requested.
An understanding of financial statements and double entry bookkeeping is required. A grasp of the accountancy principals would also be beneficial.
Knowledge experience in Excel and VBA is essential. You should be comfortable and confident in creating Excel workbooks, particularly using forms, charts and VBA coding. You must also show an ability to address requirements that are outlined in short briefs with practical Excel solutions.
Some of this work would require a display of initiative, with research into requirements to produce flexible and somewhat complex Excel templates to meet the needs of those in accountancy.
Experience with online database connectivity (SQL) would be an advantage.
