I've developed a custom app for Access that I'll be distributing, and I need someone to write an installation routine for me that will simply copy files from the CD to the user's hard drive. It could be a Windows Installation program (.msi), a VB routine, a MS-DOS bat file, or something similar. If possible, I'd prefer VB code that will operate from a link inside a PowerPoint presentation. I'm using Office 2000, with a version of the app in '97 to be included on the CD as well for Office 97 users. I'd like the routine to give the user the option to choose the location for the install. Alternatively, the routine could determine the path to the user's "My Documents" folder and copy the files to it. I'd like to have it create a "My Documents" folder if it doesn't exist on the user's machine. There is no modification to the user's system or registry - merely the copying of files from the CD to the user's hard drive.
