images on homepage distorted in IE

In IE 9 & 10, windows 7 & 8 when viewing our homepage that displays a jomsocial module...the images are distorted but in chrome or safari the images on the homepage display correctly.

This is just one module we are having issues with, its our "newest members" module. This is Joomla 2.5.
