176532 Joomla Project for Non-Profit

This project is a Joomla project that will require modules for MANUAL language translation (there is one available) as well as a membership registration module (where "levels" of membership such as free and paid memberships are available). The start date of the project with be within the next 30-90 days based upon my project load. I will be supplying you with the basic "look" or graphic design of the site (thus the 30+ day start date because it will depend on how quickly the client signs off on the design). Please provide an approximate delivery time that you will need such as 4 weeks, etc. I do expect that when you work on this project you will do more than simply install Joomla on the client's server and hook up the modules. I will need you to customize the modules so that the look will match the design. Again, keep in mind that we're not doing anything "non standard" meaning I'm not going to create something extravagant that will be impossible to work into a Joomla template. The following describes the basics of the project. ----------------------------------------------------------- The WEBSITE Foundation is a non profit organization. Its mission statement is two fold: 1. To help individuals deal with adversity and overcome any obstacle to their health, happiness and success that lies within them. To help individuals to feel their best and do their best. 2. To define the positive principles of a truly positive society in which everyone has the chance for a happy, autonomous and fulfilling life and to build that society through memberships, with the ultimate goal of having a positive impact worldwide on negative and abusive governments and societies. The main language of the website will be in English, although initially it will be also offered in a manual translation in Spanish. Future language translations will also be manual translations. (We will not ever use a software or automated service/program to handle translations because they don't do a very good job.) We would like the website to consist of two parts that reflect the above. The part dealing with the individual has tentatively been titled “Making Your Life Better”. The part dealing with the greater community has tentatively been titled “ Helping to Make Your World Better”. A book titled “BOOK TITLE” will be offered on this website. It contains these basic positive principles for living: 1. Healthy self esteem 2. Self confidence 3. Healthy lifestyle and habits 4. Developing one's potential to the fullest 5. Positive choice of occupation 6. Positive Relationships (romantic, family, friends, work) 7. Making a positive contribution to the greater community A series of audio recorded hypnosis based programs accompanies this book to help individuals achieve their potential in all the above areas. The topics can be ordered individually or as a total package. Another series of audio recorded hypnosis programs is being offered to help individuals overcome adversity (trauma, abuse, loss, divorce, setbacks of every nature, etc) and addictions ( alcohol, drugs, obesity, others) . We want to invite visitors to join the PROGRAM to help create a better life and world for themselves, their children, their families and others We want to have these features on our website: 1. mission statement 2. up to date, pertinent news items for health and well being and on making the world better 3. background 4. store to purchase book(s) and cd programs 5. gift items, displayed (cards, jewelry, etc) 6. membership 7. blog to keep members updated 8. newsletter 9. page for contributions 10. special events coming up, locally, nationally and internationally 11. invitation for the media 12. link to spanish And any other ideas you think would be good. We want the website to be available in Spanish right away, adding other languages as the translations are completed for everything. I do have a specific allocated budget for the project, however. Payment -- 25% to commence project, 25% when presented beta/test site, 50% when project deemed completed -- Payment to be handled via the Scriptlance escrow system.
