Hello. This project is a whole-new-script project which means you would have to start from the beginning (not a modification). It includes both programming and design. There's a lot of video sharing websites out there. YouTube seems to be the most popular one. Do I want a clone of YouTube? Well, not entirely but it will eventually include some of its features. Now, let's get into details. Website will include all the basic functions of typical video sharing website. Few examples: - users will be able to upload videos and share them with friends by sending a link generated by the website - users must be able to upload different file types. - browsing most watched videos, top rated etc. - searching the whole website for previously uploaded videos - rating/commenting uploaded videos Also, users will need to be able to rank eachother and their videos or whatever they are posting on a scale, say 1-10. There will need to be some sort of calculator which gives each user a average rank. Like myspace each user will be able to have their own personal page where they can post things such as their videos or pics. But there will also be the "main page" where anyone can view any video. There will need to be room for possible advertisment from other companies on the main and other pages. Obviously, I'm going to need some kind of control panel. Some of its most important parts include: - deleting/editing uploaded videos - putting videos in categories I can't think of all options so some additions may apply. Keep that in mind when you're bidding. Another important part about this project is to create a webmaster rewards program. It's not a new idea so I suggest you go to [login to view URL] (or [login to view URL]) and check out their rewards program. I'm pointing you to these websites because I really like how they have it set up. And again, this will need separate/integrated control panel. Most important functions: - deleting/editing created accounts - checking for accounts with same IP address, same password, same e-mail (cheating prevention) - integration of PayPal to ease the process of sending payouts to users WEBSITE DESIGN: Here I'm going to have you refer to [login to view URL] again. I really like their design. It clearly takes a lot of effort to create something like this. Glossy logo, some flash buttons those are the things I'd like to see on my website. However, this cannot be a clone. I just want the design to be as impressive as theirs. I hope the description is detailed enough. And just so we don't experience any misunderstanding. I need one programmer/company to complete the whole thing. In other words, I'd like to receive a completed website without having to hand it over to someone else to finish/fix/change it. This will be more of a on going thing, that will need updates and so on and wont be a one and done thing.
