Email Setup for Freelance Cockpit 2

I recently purchased Freelance Cockpit 2 from Code Canyon that is a project management system. The system supports IMAP and POP, but I am having issues getting it to work properly. I use Hosted Exchange through Sherweb that also supports IMAP and POP (I would prefer IMAP), but cannot get it to work. I also have my own server and setup another domain for IMAP, and cannot get that to work either. You can view the item here: [url removed, login to view]

According to the developer, there is a way to go into the [url removed, login to view] file and add SMTP settings to make it work. I can provide all the necessary details, FTP information, etc. I would provide a temporary password for the EMail account for you to setup and make function in the system, and then I would need instructions on how to change that password in your settings upon completion.
