Feasibility research BREW/J2ME

We need some research on how to get a mobile phone to transmit some of its states, such as whether it is roaming, what its battery charge level is, what menu it is on, the text on its screen, etc. Extended AT commands can do some of this, but perhaps not all. Can BREW or J2ME extract and send this information? Can it be done during a voice call? What kinds of phones can do this? Research results may lead to prototype development. ## Deliverables 1) Research on wireless capabilities; no formal report is necessary, just a clear statement of what is feasible on what platforms and phone types. ## Platform BREW or J2ME
