Date triggered featured posts and header on wordpress

I have a wordpress site based on a purchased theme, i want a plugin to switch featured posts that appear on homepage and change header based on date (start-end periods, multiple intervals each with a different header and articles) I already have featured articles that appear on homepage. For example i want to be able to set dates/interval when a certain header appears, both homepage and the look of inner pages, and in that interval other articles/posts are marked as featured. Once period is over, original featured articles and header should appear back automatically. i need this so i can change site looks and content based on holidays event I will provide header, changed logo and articles, of course I need this done as a plugin if possible, or if you already know a plugin that does that even better. if you can show me similar work you have done is great.
