Adding custom filters

Hi, I been working on Impreza - "Retina Responsive WordPress Theme template" for awhile and the template works really good and easy. But I need to customize Product Filters for the portfolio page. I attached a quick mock-up for what I'm trying to a compilation. All the plugin filters that im finding the filter the post and the category for the blog, which this is not what im looking for. I need to be able to add customer filters so the customer will be able to filter my portfolio.
