Adding promotions to POS script -- 2

we have a pos script made by CI (CodeIgniter) framework we would like to add promotions to the products in there as the script dont have any.

the promotions should be in the product details page and should be as the following:

the needed fields are [ promotion price; promotion start date; promotion end date; extra promotion product; extra promotion product price]

extra promotion product is a conditional product saying if you buy product A between these dates at this price you can have product B for this price or free.
