App idea:
The idea is very simple. When the student logs in to the app, a list if advisors will appear so that the student can select the desired advisor. After selection, available time will appear for this particular advisor. After the student selects the time, a confirmation will be sent to the advisor for approval. When the time selected has been approved, an email will be sent to the student and the time selected will be automatically removed from available time.
Step-by-step:
Advisor login:
1. The member area for the advisor is different from the student's member area.
2. When the advisor logs in to his account, he/she will be able to modify profile (name, email ...), availability time and dates. Also can approve appointments made by students.
Student login:
1. When the student logs in, he or she can modify name, email ... and can place an appointment with an advisor. A list of advisors should be shown for the student to select from.
2. When the student selects the advisor, he/she can then select the time that is available and was specified by the advisor.
3. The student should then type in the reason of advising.
4. After submitting, a confirmation should be sent to the advisor so he/she can approve it.
5. If the appointment is approved, the available time should be automatically removed from the advisor's availability time and a confirmation will be sent to the student telling him/her that the appointment has been approved.
6. If rejected, the advisor should specify the reason of rejection, and a rejection
confirmation should be sent to the student.
