Do you just want to scan and find the OH over the label or is there any more feature that we need to include. Also, I had gone through the PDF you had shared and images too. I believe we have to define a format that in all the format we will have the label so that accordingly it can check for the details. Error and OK message is clear. Hello, To do something like this there would need to be a camera that needs to be used to OCR the label. I would recommend developing a mobile application as not many people have built in cameras on their computers/laptops whereas an app would be more portable and convenient to use (holding up the phone to the bottle, rather than a bottle to the computer.) Hi I'm a python/django web application developer. The web site side of your project is not complicated, what is, is reading and converting the labels. Looking through, the google lead tesseract-ocr project seems the best option, but because of the fonts used on the labels, the text is not read clearly enough. However we can create new tesserat file for recognising the fonts and characters on the wine labels, thus train the system to read the labels properly.
