I have a great deal of experience with SaaS programming and have even built my own framework to speed development of SaaS systems. While I do use the framework to develop other SaaS platforms it is my own code that I have been developing and enhancing for several years now. I have two projects now that are very similar to yours. One is a dance studio system where studios can sign up and then students can enroll under the studio. The whole system is managed at an admin level. The other is an appliance service warranty company that will have service companies signup under the main company and then individual customers would sign up under the service companies. While it sounds like you have just one school to manage, this could easily be expanded to cover many schools and the teachers and students under them.
