Below are differences between the 2 ways: 1, API * Advantage -> Run fast. * Disadvantage -> The developer must learn the API first, this may take time. 2, Web automation: use Selenium * Advantage -> if they have already worked with Selenium, they don't need to pay time to learn. * Disadvantage -> Selenium run slower than call API, because it use web driver to render page, then control the web page through code.
