Create a simple php script to retrieve a players position in an existing sql leaderboard.

I currently have an existing sql leaderboard database and I have a simple script to retrieve the top ten scores from that list. I need 2 more files, [login to view URL] that returns a single variable listing the spot the players is in the leader board and another [login to view URL] that functions like getscores but instead of the top 10 retrieves the players place and 9 others relative to it, with the player being #6 of those 10.
Example of [login to view URL] result:
Player|100|Player|99|Player|94|Player|80|Player|76|MyUsername|MyScore|Player|70|Player|60|Player|58|Player|56
Once you look at the supplied scripts it should make a lot more sense and be pretty simple. It shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes to someone familiar with php.
