I have been doing real-time C since 1998, C++ since 2000 and was a C++ MVP (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional) for two years 2005-2006 before giving it up because I could not devote the time to that award that I think it deserved. I have followed the C++11 spec very closely. I know Java very well and have recently been working in Perl, but not PHP, but in my career I have learned about 30 languages probably and the language is not the problem: that's easy, it's the problem that is difficult.
Obviously as someone with no bids I must bid low, and I would need your help at times to understand your needs. Working for a major defence company for nine years, I am used to working to very exacting requirements, and working for small companies afterwards, I am used to understanding that customers cannot alway say exactly what their requirements are: it's called working together.
I have an excellent command of English as a native British English speaker but also lived in the US for two years so understand US English (well Texan English!) and have many books on English, also speak French fairly well, Hungarian at an intermediate level because I live in Hungary, some Spanish, Latin and Italian.
As someone starting from nothing I must bid low, of course, but I can send a CV with more details should you wish.
Yours faithfully
Simon Trew.
